Couscous with dried fruits and duck breasts


Recipe preparation
  • Chop the onions and brown them in a frying pan with some olive oil
  • Spread honey on it and stir
  • Pour in the chicken broth and the chopped garlic
  • Cover and let it simmer on a low heat
  • Put the prunes and the apricots in warm water for an hour
  • Thinly slice the chili pepper
  • Prepare the Tipiak Couscous as indicated on the box
  • Once it is ready, pour it in a pan with a knob of butter and cook for 5 minutes on a low heat, stirring with a fork
  • Add the chili pepper, add the fruits (including pineapple) and the chickpeas
  • Brown the duck breasts in a pan for a few minutes
  • Put the Couscous in a warm dish. Put the duck on top and spread some parsley before you serve it

Suggestion :

  • You can replace the duck breasts with lamb knuckle joints


  • 2 onions and 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of liquid honey
  • 12 prunes, 6 dry apricots
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 360 g of Tipiak Couscous
  • 200 g of dried and refined duck breasts
  • 3 sprigs of flat parsley
  • 1 small can of chickpeas
  • 50 cl of chicken broth
